My vast experience designing for the non-fiction market means I can offer insight into design trends and current industry standards, and how to surpass those in order to stand out from the crowd. My own design work is bold, colourful and strongly typographic. I specialise in creating aesthetic connections between text and image, visually captivating hierarchies and unusual interpretations of familiar images.

Designing book covers, layout and in-book illustrations for a variety of publishers, including Bloomsbury, Hay House, JKP and I.B.Tauris as well as digital publisher Canelo
Macmillan Publishers Ltd.
Responsible for the design and pre-press of 450+ covers per year across a variety of non-fiction lists and liaising directly with Editorial and Production staff , as well as overseeing an additional team of two designers working on 800+ covers per year for the US Scholarly market. Providing regular training and mentoring on industry trends and briefing processes while ensuring a uniformly high standard of design across the two divisions.
