After years of working for various studios and agencies I am now a self employed book designer, collaborating with publishers such Bloomsbury, Hay House, I.B.Tauris, Jessica Kingsley Publishers and Canelo. Having previously spent almost four years working for Macmillan Publishers, most recently as Managing Designer responsible for ~1,000 covers per year, I am highly experienced at handling high volumes of work without compromising on the finest aesthetic and conceptual details to each individual project. I believe in open channels of communication and constructive feedback which together lead the design to its full potential.
My vast experience designing for the non-fiction market means I can offer insight into design trends and current industry standards, and how to surpass those in order to stand out from the crowd. My own design work is bold, colourful and strongly typographic. I specialise in creating aesthetic connections between text and image, visually captivating hierarchies and unusual interpretations of familiar images.
I'd like to offer you my skills and experience in giving your book its best visual representation - inside and out.
