As a real life story writer, I've listened to the most moving and unforgettable stories. Sitting one to one, I gently ask questions to create a detailed and emotional read. The tales can be harrowing - a woman whose daughter was murdered or someone recounting a childhood of abuse. I know I've done my job well when the subject reads the story and says, 'that's just the way it was' or 'that's exactly how I felt'.
As an editor, I rework the copy to make it flow, but stay true to the writer's voice. I can make the reader shed a tear, or laugh out loud.
Away from storytelling, technology is my passion. Every month, I write about the latest gadgets and technology for the glossy magazine, Prima, It's an exciting subject and I aim to make it easy to understand whether I'm testing the latest apps or a car that parks itself. My jargon-busting style can make How To guides entertaining and accessible.
