My passion is copy-editing fiction, but I love to edit anything from academic essays to journalistic articles to business materials.

I am an editor with a background in journalism and publishing. I recently completed my MA in Literature and Publishing at the National University of Ireland, Galway. I have experience editing a range of media from fiction work (both prose and poetry), informational and promotional business materials, academic essays and articles, and journalistic pieces. I am very familiar with AP Style and the Chicago manual, and I adapt easily to house style guides. I am adept at editing a piece to fit a company's identity or to retain an author's style.
During my Master's, I worked as an Academic Writing Centre tutor at NUI Galway. I helped undergraduate and postgraduate (Master's and Doctoral) students to edit their academic essays, articles, and theses (as well as the occasional cover letter or personal statement).
I have been a freelance editor and proofreader for several years. Recent projects include a novel about religion and philosophy, informational booklets regarding company insurance, blog articles about dating and relationships, and an anthology of short stories and poetry.
