I am a freelance editor and writer. I have had several poems, one magazine article, a devotion, and a short story published and am working on my first Historical Romance Novel. I taught creative writing classes to homeschool students from Kindergarten through grade twelve for the past twenty years.
I am an active member in ACFW (American Christian Fiction Writers) and LCW (Lancaster Christian Writers) and several small writing and critique groups in my local area, and have critiqued many pieces of fiction in almost every genre in these groups. I am also teaching an online class on setting for ACFW's 2017 At Home Writers' Conference from 9/21 - 9/24, 2017.
I have had many people recently ask me to help them with their writing or to edit their work and have recently finished editing a complete fantasy manuscript.
I have met with an editor who has encouraged me in my writing and in becoming an editor, as well.
I utilize the Chicago Manual of Style and Merriam-Webster's online Dictionary in my editing. I am new in the editing world but have a lot of writing and critiquing experience which has led to my desire to edit to help others produce their best possible writing for publication.
