Planning the project schedule; editing the manuscript; editing and improving maps for new editions; liaising with authors, cartographers, typesetters and designers; briefing proofreaders and giving feedback after the job; sourcing images and preparing colour photo inserts; liaising with the production, advertising and marketing departments to ensure the project runs within budget; preparing and uploading web content to support the printed guide; using social media to promote the guide and the destination; checking ebooks.
