Kathleen Go

Kathleen Go – Editor

Passionate copy editor and proofreader with over a decade’s worth of in-house and independent experience.

Overview

I have edited over a hundred books for Penguin Random House, Hachette, and other major publishing houses in the span of more than ten years. I’ve worked on a wide range of genres, from young adult and literary fiction to memoir and social science. I have a particular interest in psychology and travel.

Of the titles I’ve edited, whose authors include Marlon James, Eddie Izzard, Nick Hornby, James Patterson, and even first-time authors, many have gone on to receive awards and become New York Times bestsellers.

I’m a reader and observer at heart, so I handle voices with care and I shape stories with a meticulous eye. I am a breeze to work with, and I love to help authors build worlds with their words.
