I have 20+ years of experience in publishing, and I have completed professional training in both fiction and nonfiction editing. I offer copyediting, proofreading, developmental editing, and writing services to authors and publishers across the country. A strong believer in the collaborative approach to editing, I adapt my style to fit the needs of my clients.
My editing experience ranges from nonfiction trade and academic books to genre fiction to memoir and more. Clients include major trade publishers, university presses, small presses, and self-publishers. As a self-published author myself, I know what it takes to produce a high-quality book that sells. I also spent 7 years in-house, giving me an inside look at what traditional publishing holds.
Specialties include self-help, business coaching, memoir, and Midwest history. I also welcome sports books, Native studies, fantasy, and other genres. Self-publishers have a home with me.
