Overview

I am the award-winning author of ten novels, including three middle-grade books. I have also ghost-written six children's books and three graphic novels.I have taught creative writing and editing at the community college level. My books have been well-reviewed in Publishers Weekly, Kirkus, the Midwest Book Review and other noteworthy outlets. I love working with new authors as a coach. As an editor I am always careful to protect the author's voice.

My career has afforded me many opportunities to teach and speak on writing techniques and the writing life.

I am the author of ten adult novels and three middle grade novels. I enjoy working with new writers and help them develop their voice and style. I also speak and teach about writing and what it means to be a writer. I am patient and caring. As a ghostwriter I have written over a dozen novels. My approach is casual and I enjoy keeping in close contact with my clients. I might be the ghostwriter but we are partners.
