Editorial Assessments. Every story is different, there’s no one exact formula that works for all. Let me help you make your story better.

Overview

Born and raised in Lima, Peru, as a kid I spent every waking moment with my head buried inside a book. Whether it’d be Roald Dalh, Danielewski, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Murakami, or Dostoevsky, I found every single one of them equally fascinating because of their own particular approach to storytelling. In addition to that, I grew up surrounded by theater and the art of screenplay. Just a bud, I learned what makes a character truly breathe life onto the page (before it even got to the stage), and the wonders of duality and subtext. Since then I’ve dedicated my life to storytelling, studying books such as Joseph Campbell’s “The Hero With A Thousand Faces”, “The Writer’s Journey”, and “The Art of Dramatic Writing”, among others. I get pure joy from dissecting a character’s goals/stakes, journey, and obstacles; and notice whenever these are missing.

New writers will welcome my thorough analysis of their work. I aim to provide the insight to add more meat to the bones, to skim the fat, and to restructure when necessary. I'm here to help you tell your story in the best way possible. From what I’ve learned, every story is different, there’s no one exact formula that works for all; each story has its own distinct personality, and therefore should be approached with an open mind, and not forced into a cookie-cutter. Both new and seasoned writers will appreciate my accessible fees.
