Whether it be fiction, non-fiction, memoirs or children's books, I work with my authors to execute an exciting design that makes them proud. As the Lead Designer, I support the other designers on my team and implement strategies to maximize the quality of our design program while working efficiently to meet deadlines. I also work to stay on top of best practices and emerging trends in design, layout, and formatting of printed and electronic books.

In addition to all of the responsibilities of being a Pre-Press Technician, I also oversaw the hiring and training of the entire team of in-house and freelance designers.

In this position, I was responsible for the creation of authors’ books, from initial assessment to final print and eBook file production. The role allowed me to use my design and customer service abilities to ensure my authors received a top-quality product.
