After gaining degrees in physics and maths, I worked for many years in IT development. I retrained in proofreading and editing over 8 years ago, and now I am a full-time professional copy-editor. I work on a broad range of subjects, especially physical sciences, maths, engineering, computer science and technology in various varieties of English. I have lots of experience with non-native English.

I have worked on titles for publishers such as OUP, CUP, Woodhead, Chandos, Kognity, Educational Company of Ireland and Folens.
