Overview
Before starting to work with writers 1:1, I taught creative writing for over 10 years. I have an MFA from Bennington in Writing and a BA from Otterbein in English. My own work has been published in over a hundred publications, and my clients have found acceptance in MFA programs, published widely and found their creative why.
Since I'm new to Reedsy, here are a few testimonials:
Jen coached me through the completion of my collection of short stories. She is a great teacher and very precise. With her positive feedback and encouragement, I was able to finish the book. I highly recommend her coaching services for new writers.

Working with Jen was a delightful process, she confidently navigated me through developmental editing to ready my book for pitching to publishers. She listened well and understood my goals and interests. It was such a pleasure working with Jen, and I look forward to working with her again on my next book project. I highly recommend Jen if you are writing a book and want to partner with a supportive and knowledgeable guide.
