I'm J. Reuben. My books have been published in all formats by the largest publishers in the world. I have also written entertainment content for Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Discovery+. I have taught thousands of students in the arts of creative writing, nonfiction writing, and memoir writing, and I have edited books across those same genres. I am most excited by literary novels, thoughtful memoirs, and tasteful true crime books, all of which I've had great success with.

Authors are often excited by my "dual diagnosis" as a literary writer with a film-writing background, and they love working with me because I intimately know the language they speak. Wherever a writer may be in the process, from conception to publication, I have been there, too. I have been a writer and editor for thirty years, and there is nothing I understand more deeply than the pain points and beauty of the writing life.
