Overview

Heather Jacquemin, founder of HJ's Editing Services and former competitive-journalism teacher, provides all levels of editing and proofreading with accuracy, agility, and acuity. Heather graduated summa cum laude with a BA in English, and is currently pursuing a copyediting certificate through San Diego State University. Heather specializes in fiction, but also excels in the non-fiction realm. Her flexibility in successfully editing historical fiction, memoir, gay romance, paranormal romance, poetry, and children's literature has helped some of her clients to become bestsellers, award winners, and award nominees. When Heather manages to pry herself from the computer's clutches, she may be found whipping up a vegetarian meal, reading how-to books on surviving life with teenagers, or planning her next visit to a poetry slam.
