The Homesteader
Purchased franchise for monthly free newspaper for new homeowners. Mostly, my job was to edit syndicated articles, and arrange for publication and distribution to around 2000 new home owners in the San Jose area. I published 11 monthly editions, to great response, but found I was losing money in the process so I had to quit.
InfoWorld
Main job was writing and processing high-tech surveys to subscribers (mostly senior IT people); I also processed requests for permission to quote from the newspaper, set up and oversaw reference library, hired and trained Street Pricing Researcher, and conducted technical research for staff and the public.
