Overview
In 2013, working with a team of health care professionals and mobile app developers, I developed two iOS apps for physical rehabilitation: Athletic Trainer Plus and Physical Therapist Plus. Each app contains over 650 high definition videos that can be used for study in school or sent out as patient education.
I’ve personally had a hand in bringing more than 30 titles and 50 editions to print in the last 20+ years, and together with consultants managed through my organization Van Brien & Associates, we have contracted on more than 150 textbooks for 15 publishers.

Worked with publishers, authors, marketing, design, editing, and production teams to develop marketable printed and electronic products for content-specific areas within strict parameters of proposed budgets.
• Fully developed more than 30 titles and more than 50 editions across multiple disciplines, from proposal stage through publication.

Founded and managed the daily operations of VBA, a freelance consulting business that connects publishing companies with skilled freelance editorial consultants, social media managers, and content marketing specialists, enabling an organization to manage all of their outsourced projects through a single point of contact.
• Provided full development services for more than 100 separate titles, over many editions, across several disciplines.
• Implemented editorial development and management for online courses, MOOCs, and adaptive learning platforms.

• Produced and launched three iPad apps (Athletic Trainer Plus, Physical Therapist Plus, Rehabilitation Plus) that provided a revolutionized approach to patient education using clear video demonstrations of each exercise prescribed for successful rehabilitation and recovery from injuries.
