Overview

Eric is a communicator. Through his voice and the written word, he’s led award-winning news teams in radio and print, created content for media campaigns large and small, and lent his creative voice to countless projects. He holds degrees in journalism from Northwestern University and creative writing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and participated in several skill-sharpening training sessions on the subjects of data journalism, narrative journalism and more.

A born storyteller, at three years old, he conned his parents into bringing home two cats after he told them all about the secret life of his new pet boxelder bug. Spot lived in a salt shaker, and for two hours, he was the best friend a kid could have.

Acted as primary reporter filing daily, two-day and feature stories. Developed bi-weekly narrative journalism news series. Host of daily All Things Considered local news broadcasts.
