Overview
Hello there! I'm an editor with years of experience in books, academic journals, dissertations, and articles. I've worked with top researchers and scholars in proofreading, organizing, developing, copyediting, and preparing their work for publication.
In 2023, I completed my dissertation and received my PhD in English from Fordham University. Over the years, I've worked as a writing center coordinator, an editorial assistant to top professors, as well as a copyeditor then managing editor for acclaimed journals published by Cambridge and Johns Hopkins University Press. I've edited dozens of articles published in Financial History, Renaissance Quarterly, Modernism/Modernity, and elsewhere. I am an expert in academic publications editing for journal articles, dissertations and theses, essays, monographs, and edited collections.
I'm always seeking to highlight and strengthen your voice, and my editorial practice is built around bolstering the work's main ideas and authorial voice while also maintaining the highest editorial standards, consistency, and precision. I am an attentive editor who will stay committed to your project from the earliest drafts to the final proofs. I am happy to provide feedback on organization, style, presentation, and publishability, in addition to my normal services of copyediting, proofreading, formatting, and preparing work.
I'm looking forward to working with you! Please feel free to reach out and tell me more about your project.
