I'm an award-winning short story writer and an experienced editor, proofreader and copywriter. My creative writing has appeared in Winter Papers, gorse, The Stinging Fly, The Dublin Review, and the anthologies The Long Gaze Back (New Island) and Town & Country (Faber). I’ve won a number of awards for my fiction and am represented by Lucy Luck at Conville & Walsh.
I am co-founder and editor of Banshee literary journal, where we work with authors to publish exciting and contemporary fiction, poetry and essays. I tutor beginner creative writers at Big Smoke Writing Factory, providing in-depth feedback on character, themes, structure, dialogue and style. I am also an experienced journalist, with work appearing in the Irish Examiner, the Irish Times and the Irish Independent.
