Work experience

Industry Advisor, Viewfinder via Interactive Media Studies Department

North Central College

March, 2015 – Present (almost 2 years)

Currently, Viewfinder is an outlet for the amazingly creative students in the Interactive Media Studies program with "an outlet for their creative endeavors" via a student-run multimedia magazine. It's branching out into the greater community to help give these creative gurus real-life opportunities to work with clients in internship settings, which is where I come in.
• I help find nonprofits and other businesses looking for top-notch work find Viewfinder's key staff and students to create a supportive, optimally real-life experience for students before they even leave campus.
• I'm a kind-hearted matchmaker and much more mentor-y Don Draper who also shares my 20+ years of agency and real-life experience and expertise in a mentoring, genuine agency manner. To learn more, please visit: http://viewfinder.noctrl.edu/Winter15/index.html. We currently have four projects lined up just within the latter half of this term and look forward to keep it going as a permanent project. Our clients are “extremely satisfied”!
