Content Tutor

Goleman Library at San Joaquin Delta College
March, 2016 – Present (over 2 years)

From tutoring I've learned to constructively direct a student, like an author, towards the creative problem solving that they need to do in order to reach their goals. In specific subject matter I'm working with Graphic Arts and Computer Sciences but have extensive English creative writing background experience to apply these tutoring concepts to most genres.

Editor-In-Chief

Poet's Espresso Newsletter, Writer's Guild Club, San Joaquin Delta College
June, 2005 – July, 2010 (about 5 years)

Founded the publication, managed publicity, did copy editing, selected works for publication, delegated some tasks with other editors, planned events, hosted events, marketed events, managed correspondence with the writers and artists. Every two months a new issue would be published of dozens of poets and artist's works to be mailed internationally in a small print run.
