A graduate of Simon Fraser University, Sydney Preston has lived in Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Rome, London and Sendai. She has been a flight attendant, TV production assistant, ESL teacher and copy editor/webmaster. A cat owner and life-time singer, she lives in on Vancouver Island.
