I have made all needed changes to editing issues in the book. The copy I submitted was still in progress. Enjoy reading it and try reading it out loud for extra fun! I would love more reviews if you decide to give it a read.

Thanks so much Kameron for your honest feedback. Before I even received this feedback I did find those few editing mistakes that invariably got through my team of editors, peer reviews, and my own eyes staring at this book since last year! I wish I had the chance to resubmit the newer version. I designed this book to ideally be read with an adult because of how fun it is to read out loud and wanted the mini-stories to promote discussion and questions. I do understand your point about the age and I agree I should increase the age because I do think older children would really enjoy this book and the vocabulary would be more age appropriate. I think it is really important to talk about mental health issues and to normalize the conversation around it so I am glad you saw that value and gathered that from my book. Thank you for taking the time to read my book and give a thoughtful post.

@kameronbrook Thanks so much for your review of my first book! I love that you got the humor and message of the book. Thanks for pointing to the editing errors(even though I had several sets of eyes on it we still missed some things) as well, it made me go back to make improvements and will be uploading an even more polished version to amazon after this. I'm glad you enjoyed the book and took the time to leave a great review! I thought it was funny what you said about the Kraken which was intentional. In my head the Kraken is bringing the ships down to the bottom of the sea because he likes to play with the boats at the bottom of the sea but he is very oblivious to the fact that the sailors disagree. I thought it was funnier without that explanation and portrayed things from the monsters point of view. That one always makes me laugh. It is a funny idea to me to imagine monsters having their own reasons and feelings about things even if it doesn't make sense to us. I appreciate your time and this review is great! Thanks again!
