Real Estate Investing QuickStart Guide

Loved it! 😍

Practical advice presented in such a manner that newbies to real estate investing have a resource to guide them through step-by-step.

Real Estate Investing QuickStart Guide by Symon He, MBA breaks down intricate tools for effective and successful real estate investing. Based on his incredible success in the field, he encourages investors to apply foundational principles, as they are critical to their own success.

While most of his advice is not new, and I don’t think it was meant to be, it is presented in such a manner that newbies to real estate investing have a resource to guide them through step-by-step. Additionally, those who are already investors can still learn from this material. Many additional resources are provided throughout the book, including digital download assets, graphs/charts, analyzers, checklists, and success story examples.

This book is not just about residential real estate; its knowledge and advice can be applied to commercial as well. Each investment method is broken down in Parts and subsequent chapters a commonsense flow. Some tactics readers will be introduced to are residential/landlord, multifamily real estate, and working with partners so you don’t have to go it alone).

From the bird’s eye view to intricate details, such as tax benefits and depreciation considerations, Symon provides way more than a quick start overview. On a personal note, my husband and I are looking to buy a campground, so while that specific example wasn’t noted (nor would I expect it to be), the advice given will help us. For example, Symon notes that commercial investments are not for beginners, that you should have residential investment experience first, which my husband does; therefore, it was reassuring. Symon states, “Commercial investment isn’t the first step for a real estate investor, but it can certainly be a next step for those who are ready to see what else is out there beyond the horizon of homes, units, condos, and apartments.”

Overall, Real Estate Investment QuickStart Guide is a very good resource for any looking for one-stop shopping guide on real estate investing. Symon provides high-level advice that anyone can learn from. Like any good nonfiction book on a similar topic, the ideas are all here, you just have to take action to make them work for you.
