In 2015, my husband and I sold up and left Sydney to live in a caravan. We’ve travelled ever since and have experienced many adventures of our own from a mini tornado to floods cutting us off from civilisation. I love chocolate and anything sweet and delicious, reading YA fantasy books and watching adventure movies. I mostly write Children’s and Young Adult fantasy stories, but I consider myself more of a daydreamer and seeker of wondrous realms.

This unique fantasy seamlessly blends a time-travel adventure from 2021 to 1940 with the adventures of Arthurian legend and a fight against a contemporary serial killer. The author does a great job making you want to find out what happens next while leaving you enough clues to make a pretty good guess (although you may still be surprised). She has a great writing style.

Even if you aren’t familiar with King Arthur legends or the Agatha Christie mysteries referenced in the book, if you like an intricate read with plenty of good plot twists and good characters getting the bad characters, you’ll like this story.

Does include deaths of innocent characters and tense chase/capture scenes.

In general, I love time travel stories, and I found this one fitted quite nicely into the genre, but it did leave me wanting to know more!
Gilbert is on her way to her grandmother's cottage when she has an accident and is rescued by a stranger. What ensues is interesting, but I did find it all a little disjointed, especially as It appeared as if there were 2 or more stories, but they did resolve themselves into a good tale
I really hope there will be more!

Prepare yourself for a real trip in time, back to the world of Arthur and all the legends. Your guide will be Fran as the author slowly reveals Fran's discoveries. An extremely well written story that brings in all the key events towards the end of Arthur's rein. It also adds a stop between the current world and his. Fran discovers that perhaps there is some truth to the legends. There is mystery to this story and not just the discoveries related to Arthur.

If you enjoy getting into fantasies, this one will really pull you in. Fran is you guide, stay close and pay attention! This is a great ride.

Mists in Time is really an easy book to read and once started you don't want to put it down. It is nice the way Ms. Klein combined Arthurian legend with the modern day and to make reference that I believe her to be an Agatha Christie fan. When reading this tome, it is nice to have a little bit of knowledge of King Arthur and history. It is not a must, but just enough to get a feel for it to see where the author is coming from. I strongly recommend this to anyone that likes time travel, King Arthur, Agatha Christie, and WW2 in the UK. Keep up the good work and thank you.
