Real Love
I have loved you with an everlasting love.
I have loved you with a fierce love.
I have loved you from afar.
I have loved you since the beginning of the world.
I have loved you with passion.
I have loved you through your tears.Ā Ā
I have loved you through your fears.
I have loved you with a Fatherās love.
I have loved you with a Brotherās love.
I have loved you with a Friendās love.
I have loved you like the humblest Servant.
I have loved you like the greatest King.
I have loved you faults and all.
I have loved you with My blood.
I WILL love you all eternity!
Dear Jesus, thank You for giving me real love and not the temporary love of this world! Amen!

Journaling is an activity often associated with reflection and introspection. When you combine that with prayer and divine intercession, it can often lead to something rather profound and moving in oneās own experiences.
Ā
At least, so Iām led to believe.
Ā
This book takes that principle and applies it to worship of the Lord, particularly of Jesus Christ, by praising Him and giving thanks for all that He has done. In doing so, the author provides us with numerous instances of praise and thanksgiving, as well as a space to reflect afterwards.
Ā
In its bare essence, itās charming, and the prayers are perfectly crafted for that purpose. Not only that, but the inclusion of Bible verses ties it together, as both the prayers and the verses work hand in hand with the messages from the Lord that are recorded in the book. āGive Me Moreā, for example, reads like an offer of comfort, while there are other kinds of messages like āIn My Handsā and āDream Bright and Boldā that speaks to our beauty and that of the world around us.
Ā
It's truly an inspiring book, and one that I wouldnāt hesitate to give to those around me who find comfort in such things. In fact, I think any spiritual Christian would benefit from reading this and using it as a journal.
Ā
The only bad thing about this book is that it lacks any sort of concrete instructions. Aside from a brief introduction and the invitation to jot down oneās thoughts, thereās no indication of what youāre supposed to do with it. A more concrete instruction or line of questioning of the reader would not go amiss here, guiding them as to how best to serve and reply to the Lordās messages.
Ā
That isnāt a deterrent though. Itās an excellent journal otherwise, and I really canāt recommend enough.
