Light Up The Darkness: A Fluorescent Awakening by T.P. Blakewell is a metaphysical manifesto blending memoir, poetry, and cosmic philosophy into a call for spiritual and planetary transformation. The book guides readers from self-realization to collective awakening, emphasizing humanityâs latent extraordinary capabilities encoded in 114 chakras. Blakewell asserts that humans are beings of light, capable of telepathy, astral travel, healing, and mastery over natural forces, suppressed by dark terrestrial and extraterrestrial powers.
Drawing from his direct personal experiences, yogic siddhis, neuroscience, mystical poetry, and disclosure literature, the text bridges science and spirit, highlighting the amygdala and crown chakra as gateways to higher dimensions. Central themes include the cosmic war between light and darkness, remembrance of celestial origins, and the urgent need for awakening as both personal liberation and global healing. The narrative is interwoven with blessings, prayers, and poetic transmissions, elevating the book into a sacred object aligned with rituals such as Diwali.
Blakewellâs message is clear: humanity must reclaim its divine mission, resist suppression, and embody love as the ultimate power. More than a book, it is a spiritual torchâinviting readers to awaken, cultivate energy, and serve as warriors of peace and truth in a transformative age.

One must awaken in this life if one wants to know who they truly are,
To realize your own liberation is to break free of all illusion,
We need to free ourselves of all illusion in all things,
That includes how the world works, how our bodies work, how our energy works,
the true nature of self and much more,
There are those among us who have unique extraordinary capabilities,
and each one of us has a different energy algorithm, a smart intelligent energy,
Awaken now and learn to use it, protect it,
For all of us are on a spiritual path, but some people simply don't know it,
All of us, individually and collectively,
are being forced by circumstances to remember who we truly are,
And we will learn this through wisdom, or we will learn it through pain,
We can embrace the truth or we can resist the lesson and learn it later,
But the longer we wait, the more chaos we will generate,
For the sake of our children,
And our childrensâ children,
May we learn it now.
We are being initiated into a great mystery. This is our chance. You have a feeling that there is something greater, something beyond us and there is. It is the depth of the darkness now confronting our world that will reveal to us the truth of who we truly are. We are spirit. When we remember that, and act accordingly, the world itself will bow to our remembrance. And we shall bow to all living animals, plants, trees, flowers and stars in the sky. And they to us.
The darkness in this world is like your invitation to the light,
Calling forth the light in all of us,
We are lit from within,
Awaken,
Light up the darkness.
You must reach within for clarity, strength, and love. For it is not what happens to us, but what we do with what happens to us and who we decide to become because of what happens to us. Spiritual principles do not change, but we do. We must awaken to who we truly are. Who we ourselves become, how we grow and change and face the challenges of our own lives, is intimately and causally connected to how the world will change over the next few years. For the world is a projection of our own individual psyches. It is hurt or healed with every thought we think.
To whatever extent I refuse to face the deep issues that hold me back,
to that extent the world will be held back,
To whatever extent I find the keys to the transformation of my own life,
to that extent I will help change the world.
That is what this book is about:
Awakening and becoming the change that will change the world.
The only real failure is the failure to grow through what we go through. There are lessons to be learned while we are here. We feel a loss of meaning like a sickness we canât shake. Most of us live with a deep, subconscious longing for another kind of world. We sing songs about it, make videos about it, write books and poetry about it, watch movies about it and create myths about it.
We continue to imagine it though we never quite seem to find it. Our secret desire is to penetrate the veil between the world we live in and a world of something much more real. One thing we know for sure: this world canât be it. Many of us are ready to make a break for freedom, to find that better world beyond the veil and no longer buy into the absurdity of a pain-laden world where there is so much darkness. Who among us doesnât feel displaced at times, in a world thatâs supposedly our home yet is so completely at odds with the love in our hearts. And how do we make the world more aligned with who we are, instead of always having to struggle to align ourselves with the world?
Perhaps we are living in a mystical hour like that between night and day, a time of transition, I believe we stand between two historic ages, when a critical mass of the human race is trying to detach from itâs obedience to fear-based thought systems. We want to crossover to someplace new. Our children and our childrenâs children are pleading with us to change things.
The times in which we live call for a fundamental change, not merely incremental change. Millions of people feel called in their souls to the task of global transformation, wanting to be itâs agents in a monumental shift from a world of fear to a world of love, peace, joy, happiness, total harmony with all, even bliss. We can feel the time is now, and we know weâre the ones to do it. The only problem is, we donât exactly know how. We must awaken to who we truly are. Realize your true identity. Then, you will know what to do.
For you are not the body, but the soul.
You are the light within which is your true self â your soul â this energy,
that survives even death of the physical body.
The time is past for tweaking this or that external circumstance.
No superficial change will fix things.
What we need is more than behavioral change and more than psychological change; We need to awaken.
We need a collective awakening.
The answer lies not in the future or in another place,
no change in time or space but rather,
a change in our perception holds the key to a world made new,
while darkness seems to be all around us,
an understanding of a deeper nature is emerging to light our way.
The wonders of the external world are nothing compared to whatâs happening inside us.
This is not an end time, but a new beginning.
Toward the end of his life, the literary giant George Bernard Shaw was asked what person in history he would most like to have been. His response was that he would most like to have been the George Bernard Shaw he might have been and never became. Donât make the same mistake he did. Become the one you were meant to be â awaken the one you truly are. We will become agents of change on a tremendous scale. By learning the lessons of change, internally and externally, each of us can participate in the great collective process in which the people of the world, riding a wave of enlightened understanding, see the human race on a destructive course and turn it around in time.
It is time to die to who we used to be and to become instead who we are capable of being.
That is the gift that awaits us now:
The chance to become who we really are.
Life as we know it is passing away, and something new is emerging to take itâs place. All of us are playing a part in a larger transformational process. This book is about learning who we are, that we might become agents of miraculous change. Then and only then will we become the men, women, children and beings of light capable of solving the problems that plague us. As we leap into the zone of our most authentic selves, we enter a realm of infinite possibility.
The most important factor in determining what will happen in our world,
is what you decide to let happen within you,
and until you make that breakthrough within yourself,
there will be no fundamental breakthrough in the world,
having done so, we will move through the darkness to the light,
and we will extend the light,
and as we change, the world will change with us,
it is time to change,
it is time to do, what we know in our hearts,
we were born to do,
light up the darkness.
Everything that happens is part of a mysterious educational process in which weâre subconsciously drawn to the people and situations that constitute our next assignment. With every lesson weâre challenged to go deeper, become wiser and more loving. And whatever our next step is, the lesson awaits us wherever we are. But wherever we are, there are things to do and thoughts to think, that would represent a higher âpossible youâ than the one you are manifesting now. In any given instant, there is more love we could see and more love we could express. And as we do, we will heal the world.

What Did I Just Walk Into?
This book feels like being handed a glowing manifesto at a very earnest, very mystical TED Talk where the speaker has personally met the beings of light in the green room. You are not here for a casual little self help pep talk. You are here for chakras, cosmic conflict, and the suggestion that you have at least a hundred more energy centers than you have ever given yourself credit for.
The tone is devotional and intense, but also deeply personal. One minute you are reading about multidimensional light beings, the next you are knee deep in poetry about your true nature while your coffee goes cold beside you. You can practically hear the background chanting.
Hereâs What Slapped:
The six day structure makes it feel like a guided retreat in book form. You move through an experience, not just a pile of ideas.
The blend of memoir, teaching, and poetry gives it a textured, layered feel. It never lets you forget this is lived belief, not abstract theory.
The Diwali connection and ritual framing turn the book into an object with intention, which many spiritual readers are going to love.
If you enjoy cross pollination between Hindu philosophy, modern spirituality, and cosmic disclosure lore, this is a big vibrant buffet.
What Couldâve Been Better:
There is a lot of capital T Truth language. Readers who like more grounding and less proclamation may feel a little swept away by the tide.
The cosmic war element will delight some and leave others blinking gently, wondering when we left Earth.
Perfect for Readers Who Love:
Mystical manifestos and spiritual epiphanies
Rumi style poetry mixed with chakra talk
UFO and disclosure flavored spirituality
Books that want you to light a candle before you open them
