I love the encouraging way Mama Bear talks about starting something new and the idea of bracelets is a sweet concrete way to offer comfort to a young child. I can see a lot of little kindergartners wearing a bracelet from their Mama's on the first day inspired by this story.

About the author
Gea is a NY attorney, wife, and mother, and loves to read to her daughter Alda Lea. As Gea’s daughter was ready to start her first day of school, Gea made two bracelets, one for her and one for her daughter, to help her child cope with separation anxiety.
