Suddenly they are racing against an approaching storm like no other - for the horrors extend far beyond father and son, far beyond all that is imaginable.
They must abandon their suburban life within Corona, California, for a perilous journey into a dimension where unworldly chaos reigns amongst the depths of darkness.
Torn apart by horrific visions and memories, elements that should not be, that had no right to be, Bob will struggle for his sanity, while Joshua fights to seize the hands of time. To put an end to the madness that ripples across an endless vacuum, threatening to snuff out existence itself.
For me the fascination in the paranormal began when I was barely a teenager living in a house that supported more residents than the immediate family. It wasn't so bad whilst living amongst our unseen guests, however, I've never had a desire to return to the weekly, if not daily, surprises that came out of thin air. At least, not in that house with those guests.
Using this fascination in conjunction with a wildly over-active imagination, I worked at slowly honing my skills, frequently getting myself into trouble for writing too 'flowery' in an academic field of health-related subjects. But the desire, the itch that wouldn't be denied, to take whomever was interested on an adventure of escapism increased to such an intensity it became an entity of its own which had to be let loose.
The world seems to have become a pressure cooker; if I can be a release-valve, and those who choose to go along for the ride come back in one piece and invigorated, albeit a little rattled, then it has been worth the risk.
Having come from an allied health background, where I've assisted thousands over the decades to rediscover their physical selves, I now wish to transport people into a world where the question begs: Just what is reality?
For me, that reality – which can be seen and touched – begins at home with my three constant companions: Saffron, Cinnamon and Ginger. Yep – I've my very own spice girls in four-legged form. And they are great at hearing things shift in the dark hours of night when us humans are totally oblivious.
