This is an interesting read about a Jack Russell who became a superhero!
Milo is a much loved little Jack Russell dog with deformed front legs, he tells the story of his life in drawings and photographs. He tells of a fun filled life despite his deformities and always an inspiration to me and hopefully children who may have a disability.
Milo is a Jack Russell dog with deformed front legs, but that does not keep him from being the storyteller's best friend. He is an inspiration for children who are differently-abled and a superhero for those who loved him.
This picture book contains illustrations which are both photographs and drawings. These illustrations do an excellent job of telling the story of Milo's life. Of particular note are the drawings, which are exceptional. They reveal the loving and kind Jack Russell Milo was - well done!
However, the story's narrative arc is not fully developed. After Milo settles into his new home, it seems as though he has no trouble thereafter. He enjoys the company of other dogs and makes many human friends. This is happy news. But adding problems and building suspense is important for increasing the interest of the readers.
Milo is a lovable dog. He does not allow his deformities to stop him from being a friend. He is the best friend of the writer, Janet Tari, and a superhero for those who knew him. I would encourage those who are in the market for a book that will inspire differently-abled young readers to be as amiable as Milo, to pick up a copy of this book.

I am a retired nurse with time on my hands and limited imagination deciding to tell Milo's story and how he was an inspiration to me and thought it may be an inspiration to young children with a disability. view profile
