In summation of this story, why is it that in the course of our lives, we are forced to go through so much pain and loss? It has to be that human life is much more significant than a simple accident. In my earlier years looking at the world I was placed in, not having the answers to my temporary existence frustrated me and I wanted to get to the bottom of it. All of life’s endeavors – struggles, development, growth, education, growing families, saving lives – just to inevitably die didn’t make sense. I couldn’t accept that it’s all for nothing in the end. Is that what the universe wants? The pain people go through in life is real. Physical and mental struggles, accomplishments, strides, sacrifices, dedication, blood, sweat, and tears have to have a purpose! It made me conclude that my existence must be for something bigger than me. What is that something? It angered me to the point that from that day on, everything I would encounter as an experience in my life would have this question behind it. What is this all for?
In the simplest form it said: starting with bacteria feeding on minerals as a single cell evolved into a fungus called slime mold. This slime mold is both equally plant and animal about 2 BYA. After 500,000 years, this fungus evolved to become multicellular; then it split. The plant half of the fungus split away and went onto land to form mushrooms and the root system of plant life we see today. The animal/fungus side went on for a few hundred million years after which it split off again, leaving the fungus to evolve as the kingdom we see today. The animal fungus evolved in the ocean to develop a vertebrae and a head. Both plant and animal fungus worked separately yet simultaneously adapting to Earth’s composition developing all life forms needed to eventually stand up. When the animal fungus eventually stands up on land, it walks over, picks a tomato, and eats it. This demonstrates that the same original fungus is eating itself. Both mankind and vegetables had evolved last, making this a planned system. This imposes two questions: 1. Why this method of growth? 2. What for?
Why this method of growth? To Hide True Origin (HTO) from what may become conscious enough to detect its True Origin. This means that if that consciousness can find or detect its True Origin, it would no longer participate in the growth of its own consciousness. A catch 22, looking more like a design for conscious growth by a conceiver with
the intent to grow it. It's as though the conceiver understands that what may evolve to become smart enough to find its True Origin, that growth would then not meet its highest expectations of growth, making this a system of HTO.
What for? To slowly build a brain capable of a conscious state of awareness, and the growth of that consciousness to its maximum, or Maximum Conscious Growth (MCG). Conclusion: Because mankind has the technological means to leave Earth forever, it supports the evidence that man is the spore of this very large single fungal growth.
INTRODUCTION
This book is a collection of facts, evidence, and events that support the thesis that all life generated on Earth is from a very large and very old “fungus” of which humanity is ultimately the spore. The following facts and evidence support this theory.
1. The evolutionary split in the original fungus on Earth around one billion years ago that formed both plant and animal is one large system today. The original fungus continued on and is the fungus kingdom we have in present time.
2. All plants and animals retain certain fungal characteristics from that split.
3. The behavior of all plant and animal life throughout evolution is highly comparable to the growth of fungi in slime mold and the mushroom life cycle.
For instance, at the end of its cycle, this particular fungi system, a mushroom, produces spores to procreate and exponentially expand its new life. Since the Earth will ultimately end, humanity’s purpose in this system is comparable to that of the spore of Earth’s ancient “fungus.”
Ultimately, this “spore” will be forced from the Earth’s overheating to leave and continue its growth in the cosmos. Thus, all life on Earth is one ever-evolving “fungus” that has developed humanity as its spore to continue life beyond the bounds of Earth.
This is a system of absolutes. Under such conditions, it would seem the same process of conscious-growth of organic life should be replicated in the same manner elsewhere throughout the universe.
Viewing this process, from humble terrestrial beginnings to extraterrestrial existence in its entirety, as a system that brings a nascent conscious-growth to its maximum potential reveals the function, and arguably the purpose, of the universe: that being as a mechanism for conscious-growth.
The mere fact that you can read this manuscript today, while humans were incapable of storing and transferring information–via formal methods of communication like writing–thousands of years ago, is evidence that human life, and all life on Earth that was or will be, is a continuing conscious-growth process.
This demonstrates that a higher level of consciousness exists today in comparison to that of past times. And that as time moves forward, consciousness increases yet at a faster rate still. More recently, even over short periods of time, human consciousness has grown significantly. This demonstrates that such conscious-growth occurs at exponentially accelerating rates. We hold more power in our hands now within a common smartphone than what was used to get the astronauts to the moon in 1969, and this giant leap for mankind has taken place within less than the span of 100 years.
With only this evidence presented to you, it would seem like the craziest luck or accident of all accidents that this would occur in the universe by fluke or chance. It would make more sense if this was an intended result or a logical consequence of some underlying mechanism.
This work aims to demonstrate that conscious-growth occurs due to underlying principles inherent within the universe, principles as basic as gravity. These limitations force continual adaptation, which is best displayed in the evolution of life forms and their response to their environment. An example of such a forced or enforced adaptation that is quintessential for any conscious-growth to overcome is the death of its biosphere and as stated before, Earth’s fate is no different. We are becoming more and more aware of Earth’s inevitable demise in modern times due to scientific advancement in the understanding of the sun’s increasing heat output. Knowledge of this fact leads to the realization that Earth will overheat and become inhospitable to life at some point in the future.
The Human Condition of Absolutes
This “Human Condition of Absolutes” causes fear and concern over the longevity of our species as a whole. The awareness of this condition is only beginning to permeate the general public’s awareness and these ramifications are personal to us. However, this is not the case since this mechanism is at play in every star system throughout the universe. Thus, this is a universal limitation for any life to form, become sentient, and evacuate its birthplace. Ultimately, the proof that this mechanism exists will be shown to be evident in the formation and evolution of life itself. Thus, it will become clear to the reader that the product of the universe is Maximum Conscious-Growth (MCG) and it is achieved by the mechanisms enforced by the very physics that governs the universe itself. The physical manifestation of this conscious-growth is the ultimate appearance of a planetary “fungus” that produces a human spore for eternal space life.
If it is an absolute that this planet’s ability to continue reproduction for all the life that may evolve on it will eventually end, then, this is a system by which a product must result. That product would be a spore- like life-form that may live beyond its post-terrestrial origins and then continue to proliferate in the cosmos. We’ll call this absolute “The Human Condition of Absolutes” in order to get a spore to succeed its biospheric birthplace.
The evolution of matter and the numerous changes it has made since it started as heat encompasses the theme and theory that what may develop as intelligence might detect its True Origin. By observing the behavior of all matter, as we see it today, lends the theory that it could be the design itself that makes and suggests that there is some intent to hide True Origin from consciousness as it grows and in a sense the intent to make it. It may be that without this naivety, any biospheric conscious-growth might not be willing to continue forward. This shows in the randomness of matter, not only random but random variable displacement of matter and only structural evidence being that matter had a center point from which it expands and knowing nothing before that conception.
Maximum Conscious-Growth (MCG)
TL;DR The concept of Maximum Conscious Growth explores the idea that consciousness is a fundamental element driving the existence and evolution of matter and organisms since the Big Bang. The observation of consciousness evolving with expanding matter indicates a need for continuous growth, reaching its maximum potential. The Human Condition of Absolutes serves as hard evidence, highlighting the enforced growth of consciousness and technological advancement. Acknowledging layered cognitive realities is essential for confirming and building upon new realities. The conditions shaping this psychology reveal that consciousness is an intended growth product, though the origin remains a mystery. Accepting human conditions of absoluteness contributes to the conscious growth process and the pursuit of technological conquest, ultimately aiming to leave Earth or burn up with it. The key elements include expanding matter in dark cold space as a platform for organics, the inevitability of death, and conditions of absolutes enforcing conscious growth. That being said, the observation also shows the veracity in that behavior to need to grow to its maximum. If Earth were to end today, then we could calculate that this biosphere MCG stopped at this point. But if Earth were to be a successful biosphere and its conscious-growth survive its terrestrial end, then it would continue to grow further to its maximum growth potential, whatever and wherever that would be.
The Human Condition of Absolutes is the hard evidence that what is at work here is the enforced growth of conscious-growth and its technological advancement. This growth process is calculated through observing the acknowledgment of layered cognitive reality, whether in the individual or collective. For instance, one new reality cannot be made without the firm acknowledgment of the previous ones, and this appears to be the only way to confirm the next or even have the potential to confirm the next reality: a controlled and accurate form of building a psychology, which is a growth, through conditions of absolutes.
The conditions that this psychology is subjected to are the evidence that consciousness is a growth product, and an intended growth product. By whom? It’s still a total mystery. Of course, if this growth product was not a total mystery, we would not be here to experience it as a mystery, and we most certainly would grow. Accepting the human conditions of absoluteness your psychology encounters is a major contribution to this conscious-growth process and the necessary technological conquest needed to achieve the goal of leaving the Earth.
The God formula below best describes the observed behavior of all expanding matter and organic evolution. It looks highly unlikely that the production of conscious growth can take place in any other environment than a vacuum after with the ignition of expanding matter which is also the physics that hid true origin, which is the setup for the ignition of organic evolution and the fungus. All together, these elements develop a psychotic void in an animal that would eventually evolve to observe it forcing it to grow consciously through time and the continuation of that expanding matter.
The God Formula: V+IOEM+HTO+IOFG+VOP+CG = MCG V: Vacuum

Mark Christensen's "Fungus Theory of Conscious Growth" offers a new and different way to think about consciousness. Despite its title, this book is not fiction. Instead, Christensen combines ideas from philosophy and science to ask big questions about consciousness, how things evolve, and where humanity fits in the universe. He clearly explains his main idea: consciousness grows like a fungus, driven by mystery and something he calls the Hidden True Origin (HTO).
His main theory is that the universe is designed to help consciousness grow as much as possible. He sees humans as the "spores" of a bigger, fungus-like organism, all working together to advance consciousness. This offers a fresh way to look at human efforts and our evolution.
Given that current politics often focus on division, it's very interesting to read about Christensen’s strong focus on "love" as the main force for survival, cooperation, and making technology better. He believes challenges like wars, diseases, and environmental problems are actually tests of how well we can adapt. He argues that our biggest goal is to reach "Technological Evacuation Standards." This means getting humanity ready to survive off Earth and become "eternally self-sufficient" in space. He also looks at big questions about life, death, and a creator. He thinks that not fully understanding why we exist pushes us to invent and grow.
I first picked up this book because I was curious about "rewilding," which is about our relationship with nature. But instead, the book felt more like deep, imaginative thinking that makes you question what you thought was true. I believe "The Fungus Theory of Conscious Growth" will appeal to anyone who likes books that combine different fields like space, biology, psychology, and technology to understand why we're here and where we're going. People who love science fiction, futurists, and those who wonder about how life started, its purpose, and how humans can survive beyond Earth will find it very interesting. It's also a great read for those who enjoy thinking about how love, stories, moral lessons, and group effort guide human fate.
Christensen's writing style mixes philosophical ideas, scientific guesses, and creative stories. The book is detailed and analytical, meaning it makes you think hard. But Christensen still manages to write in a way that is thoughtful and makes you reflect. For me, the best parts of the book are when he asks big questions about life and explores complex ideas like consciousness and the purpose of life in the universe. This is where his "Fungus Theory" really stands out, pushing readers to consider ideas far beyond what's usually discussed.
