Cute Story This is a cute bedtime story, showing how everyone and everything is sleepy in the house (including the bath-time bubbles and stuffed animals), except for the baby. While it isn't told in rhyme, it has a certain cadence with the repetition of the word “sleepy” on every page as well as an ending repeating word for each two-page spread that repeats three times. The story actually has the kind of rhythm and flow that could help put a young child to sleep. The illustrations are bright and simple, perfect for toddlers. I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

Tracy C. Gold is a writer, editor, and mom living in Baltimore, Maryland. Her work has been published in several magazines and anthologies. Tracy earned her MFA in creative writing and publishing arts at the University of Baltimore, and earned her BA in English from Duke University.
