If reading these stories forces you to stop and take a breather because they’re driving you mad, please take into account what they did to me, the author they first drove mad by creating them.
This is a special edition of EARTHLINGS (yeah, yeah; that's what they all say). The original (well, I didn't copy it from anyone) version is just text and you, the reader, would have to use your imagination (you've got a great one, right?) to work out what the EARTHLINGS might look like. So we thought, for the more (choose an adjective) reader, we would use the same AI tool that created the (choose an adjective) cover of EARTHLINGS to have a go at the characters themselves. We weren't quite ready for what it spat out but we're sure you'll agree they are (choose an adjective).
Are you overwhelmed at work? Feeling bored and bummed out because you had a bad day? Well I have a cure for what ails you. Just sit back and pick up a copy of Earthlings - Special AI Edition by MX Publishing. From start to finish it's a tongue-in-cheek, laugh a minute ride.
As you may or may not know, depending on your circumstances, there are a little over 8 Billion people on the third rock from the sun (earth to you and me). However, maybe some of us might want to look into relocating, perhaps to a galaxy far far far away?
Earthlings - Special AI Edition by MX Publishing, is more than just a collection of short stories or tales about those odd ducks that reside on the planet. It's like a guide to the Outer Limits. Each individual that readers encounter is more wackier and more bizarre than the last. And equally guaranteed to have you busting a gut with laughter. Or at the very least sighing and shaking your head in wonder and amazement.
One of my favorite stories has to be the story of Egbert Hello and his fellow scientist Shelba Svelte. It would seem that the scientist was gazing through his telescope and discovered that aliens were on their way to our little blue planet. It happened on a relatively normal day when "night crashed down on the city, and the sun shone brightly." I admit that at first, I had been wracking my brains to figure out how the sun shone brightly while it was night time. Finally, I just asked Google and I received the answer that: the northernmost parts of Canada, Greenland, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Russia, Alaska, and Iceland are known as the land(s) of the midnight sun, because in summer the sun can often be seen past midnight. Wow, who knew? Thank you Google. But, I digress. This unusual occurrence where it ought not to occur, caused quite a stir, but all was not lost. Because Egbert Hello discovered that "Guess who's coming to dinner" was taking on a whole new meaning and aliens were among us. But only so long as it took to kidnap Shelba. I do hope she's okay. I have been worried about her and Annie for a while now (you know how those smooth criminals can be).
I give Earthlings - Special AI Edition by MX Publishing 5 out of 5 stars for letting readers know just how amazing humans can be and for the beautiful AI illustrations.
So, this Thanksgiving holiday, when you have a little time on your hands, be sure and check out Earthlings - Special AI Edition. But don't invite Blurks Finchee. He may be a wealthy man, but it's been rumored that in addition to not being able to cut the mustard he can't cut the turkey. But, perhaps, he can be useful and cut the cheese.
