CAMA is an elephant with a special secret; he can come to life!

This adorable little elephant arrives rather mysteriously, seeming to know when and where she is needed from little boys and girls. Her journey's take her to lots of different places, where she discovers children who are dealing with various problems that must be addressed. The elephant does not solve their problems for them but encourage and guide them to resolve them for themselves.

In the first story, 'Kindness', CAMA visits a little girl named Sapphire. After being found at a garage sale by her mother, CAMA is taken home to find that the little girl is upset at the news of her friend moving away. As Sapphire's friend moves away, the little elephant makes the beautiful stones on her headpiece glow and encourages other children to talk to Sapphire. Perhaps making friends isn't so scary after all, it seems.

In the next story, 'Kindness', CAMA visits a little boy on a farm. Here, we meet Rudy and his father. Rudy loves his animals but doesn't seem to be treating them quite as gently as perhaps he should, and his beloved cat hasn't returned for bedtime; he begins to feel sad. CAMA shines brightly to attract the attention of help and his cat reappears. The kindness of the elephant and the other animals not only helped the little boy but brought his beloved cat back too.

In the third story, 'Love', we meet Hank and his Nana. Nana is moving, and CAMA is lost. Elsewhere, a lonely child, Dayne, discovers her and takes her home. They advertise CAMA as 'found' and Dayne continues to bond with her. After taking her to his basketball game, he learns that she makes a pretty great lucky mascot, and he has a great day. Before long, Hank and his Nana find CAMA and meet Dayne and his family to retrieve her. They become friends and join Dayne at his matches.

In the final story, 'Forgiveness', Timmy has troubles with the school bully, Kyle. The quiet boy prefers to just be with CAMA and read his books. After an accident involving the three, Timmy finds that he has to come to Kyle's rescue, leading to the pair becoming friends and caring for CAMA. Once all is rectified, he is needed no more.
