Mama and Papa bear are up bright and early at the family-owned Buttercup Bakery, prepping the kitchen for their baking and decorating needs when Breezy arrives ready to offer a helping paw. Kids love to help their parents out in the kitchen, and like in Breezy Bakes Her Best, messes often do occur. The only difference between Breezy's situation and that of most young readers is that the items the bear's family was baking were for sale, so everything had to be done right and quickly, too.
Clouds of flour, sticky messes thanks to egg mishaps, salt raining down onto the floor, and several more kitchen mistakes was not a welcome sight for Mama, but the cat didn't seem to mind. He lapped up the spilled milk when other animals looked on with mixed expressions. Kids will laugh when they see what animal was sitting inside the mixing bowl and who got trapped under the avalanche of salt. Those are not the only illustrations that'll make kids giggle.
