If you have youngsters in the house, you can 100% relate to Papa's night. We, as parents, have all been there when a child just can't stay fall asleep or stay asleep. Maybe they are full of energy. Maybe their thirst can never be quenched. Maybe it's strange noises keeping them awake. Maybe they can't find their favorite snuggly toy. Or, possibly they need to sleep with you due to a thunderstorm. If you're like me in the last scenario, you never get any sleep anytime a child sleeps beside you.
Luckily for parents of HUMAN children, a nighttime call of nature doesn't require a trip outside. Well, unless you're camping, then you might have to venture outdoors to do your business. But in general, bathroom breaks are an indoor event!
Parenting is tiring work, whether you are parenting a pet or a child. There have been many days when I had to rest my eyes when the sun was still high in the sky. So if you're a parent, especially to a newborn or sick child, you can relate to their need to take a quick siesta.
Amazon has Bowwow Bedtime by Papa Paws listed for babies - 5 years. I agree with that age bracket. Babies will love the pictures, while slightly older children will love text and images. This is also an excellent story for beginning readers. The text is not complicated.
Speaking of illustrations, I loved the drawings by Papa Paws, especially the cute heart-shaped noses on the doggies. Oh, and the kitty pajamas.
BTW: I'm team kitty. They never have to go outside to potty, and they sleep great. When the lights go out, they stay in bed until breakfast.
Whether you're team doggie or team kitty, your child will love Bowwow Bedtime by Papa Paws. It might just become their favorite bedtime story.
