A nice children's book told in rhyme about all the wonders and dreams of our minds.
In his never-ending quest to learn more about the fascinating world around him, Beau is a child who wants to know "Why?" And when his imagination goes into overdrive, it's anyone's guess where it'll take him.
Join Beau as he looks at the world through a slightly different type of lens that will encourage young children to ask questions and fill in the blanks with their imaginations.
A short disclaimer: This is a picture book for children - unfortunately the file I got did not have the pictures and it is hard to paint a full picture of a children's picture book without the illustrations. On text alone you get an idea, but it's only the combination between the text and the illustrations that transform a book for kids.
This review will only address the text, but I am sure the illustrations are great and elevate the book and make it even more entertaining for the little ones. That said, the text alone is tremendously fun and entertaining.
It's a story told in rhyme about a little one dreaming about the mysteries of the world. Told from the point of a view of the child, it explores them wondering about all sort of things – like thunder and lighting and having a giraffe for a pet.
It's a fun little book to read, especially for the little ones. The rhymes make it ten times better and I am sure it will also make the parents laugh.
This book will encourage curiosity in the little ones and make them ask questions about nature and the world around them. It will also help develop their imagination and encourage them to dream all sort of weird things - maybe they will even find an answer to what animal would make the best pet: a lion, a baboon or a giraffe?

I am a former editor and writer who, as a father of three, always wanted to write books that young children would enjoy. Now that I am a retired grandfather, I have the time to pursue my dream. My grandson's love of books inspired me to write one of my own, with him as the title character. view profile
