Kala was fated to be the Fire Warrior Queen of her people, the Camuni. She felt honoured to lead alongside her sister, the Oracle of Light, and yet was haunted by a sense her purpose was meant for more. As though something or someone was beckoning from the edges of her mind, or perhaps even the universal pools.

How could she have ever imagined that on a quiet day in the forest, The King of the Woods would appear and ignite her world? Cernunnos - a primordial god and guardian of all wild things - followed his yearning for solace to find Kala among the trees. Their love built a bridge across the universal pools, but tested all that Kala had trained for as a warrior and queen. In the face of devastation she will learn that sometimes purpose is more than any human can fathom in just one life.
