We’re excited to announce that major changes to Reedsy Discovery are on the way!
Thanks to your feedback as authors, reviewers, and readers, we’re revamping Reedsy Discovery to make it even better. The next chapter of Discovery will be a space to support and celebrate indie authors, their books, and reviews. Our platform revamp will be released in stages, beginning with the phasing out of a few features that no longer serve our community.
Here's an overview of what’s changing on October 13th:
The Discover Feed and Activity Feed will be removed, in order to improve how we curate the best editorial reviews for readers.

These changes are intended to create a cleaner, more focused experience, where our authors, their books and their reviews take center stage. But don’t worry: you’ll still be able to save books to your Library.
Reviews left as a “reader” (those that aren’t official reviews from approved reviewers) will be discontinued in order to focus on the platform as a space for professional reviews that directly support our indie authors. If you wish to save any reader reviews, you’ll be able to copy them from your profile until October 27th. Note: Reviews submitted through the Reviewer Dashboard will remain unaffected.
Over the next couple months, we’ll be sharing more about our new and improved platform designed to better meet the needs of indie authors, reviewers, and readers alike — including added opportunities to participate and get more value from our community. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements!
