Every detail, from the way you describe the color blue to whether you use a semicolon or a period to break up a thought, affects the way a piece of writing is absorbed by the reader. Whether you've just finished your first rough draft and can sense that something is "off," but you aren't sure what, or you just need help polishing up your grammar before submitting to an agent, I'm here to help. I'm an experienced editor who has done proofreading, copy editing, and developmental editing on over forty published books.
I've worked with many different manuscript types, including novels, novellas, self-help books, business how-to guides, and more. However, when it comes to developmental editing and in-depth editorial reviews, I am most experienced with fiction work and memoirs. Within those areas, I specialize in books with strong female leads.
