Think; write; communicate – clearly, effectively, creatively. Editorial services to help you unlock the power of words.
I offer a range of editorial services to writers to help them communicate their message more effectively. From developmental editing to help you with that saggy middle and organise plot lines that seem to be fighting each other rather than knitting together to copy editing that will make you unique voice sing from the page and fix the structure of key scenes that just won't work.
A second round of editing, as well as preliminary work to establish exactly what you are looking for, is always included in the indicative price shown on my website, and I will always be happy to go through as many rounds of editing as is needed to make your manuscript the best it can be.
I also offer a specialist service editing academic articles and theses (in strict accordance with institutional regulations on plagiarism and IP) in Social Science and Humanities disciplines, including working with researchers for whom English is not a first language.
I graduated from Oxford with a First Class Honours in Theology and Philosophy, and have many years of experience preparing and editing high level reports for the Higher Education sector. I am also a performance poet, novelist and journalist, writing about self-publishing and literary culture for, among others, The Guardian Books Blog. I am currently the News Editor for The Alliance of Independent Authors.
