Overview

I have a BA in English from the University of California, Berkeley and am working on the Editing Certification from UC Berkeley Extension. I have been in publishing for the last five years, and have edited and proofread over a dozen books currently in circulation today. I have worked on small literary anthologies, big coffee-table books, fiction books, audio books, catalogs, biographies, newsletters, websites, articles, and product descriptions, just to name a few. I am adept at all style manuals, including Chicago and AP Style. I understand where editing fits in to production and know how important it is to keep deadlines. Even with only five years in publishing, I have attained leadership roles and have experience managing multiple complex projects at once.
