Overview

Former culinary and e-book publishing professional with experience in traditional publishing and working with self-published authors.

Currently looking to provide developmental editing, copyediting, and proofreading services to authors in all genres, but mainly focused on fiction genres and YA/New Adult fiction genres, as well as projects in the digital space, including interactive story apps.

I’m easy-going and fun to work with, but also very organized (think color-coding!) and detail-oriented. You can find me waxing poetic about books and geeking out about various fandoms on social media, so don’t hesitate to contact me for a chat!

Charleen's editing was spot on, and her notes and criticisms were very helpful in developing my piece. I will certainly seek her services in the future.

I hired Charleen to do a beta read of my full manuscript. She reviewed a sample size portion of my work, saying that was all she received. I re-sent the full manuscript, at her request, and she promised me a full report at an agreed upon extended deadline. That deadline was two weeks ago and I still haven't received her report.
