C.G. Bateman – Editor

I am a published author and experienced editor. I have edited thousands of pages of published text, and my focus is on flow and consistency.

Overview

I am an editor and proofreader, and my clients range from authors to publishers. I edit English language projects including, but not limited to, textbooks, theses, legal documents, and research papers. I am a member of Editors Canada. My last major project was proofreading a textbook on Canadian business law published by Emond Publishing (2018). Previous to this I proofread a law school textbook on Trust Law published by LexisNexis: Trusts in Common Law Canada, 2016. I have also edited law journal articles for scholars, the most recent one being accepted for publication in the Supreme Court Law Review (Canada, 2018).
