Overview

I have worked as an in-house art director and designer at Hachette Book Group and Simon and Schuster, and as a freelance designer with several publishers.

My design scope covers a variety of genres, including women’s fiction, memoir, psychological thriller, essays, biography, humor, and sports. I have commissioned and art directed illustrators and photographers and worked with a variety of picture libraries to source the right imagery for any budget. I have an in-depth knowledge of pre-press and print production. I know how to make a book cover look good to a wide audience.

When you work with me you'll find that I'm creative, collaborative, detail-oriented, timely, enthusiastic, and easy to work with. I know your book is your baby, and I will give it the care and nurturing that it deserves.

Brigid created a beautiful cover for my memoir. What I especially appreciated was that she came up with several options for me to choose from. Each was wonderful in its own way. She communicated clearly and was super reponsive to suggestions. Overall, a great experience.
