Bernard Kahn was born in New York City and attended the Art Students League of New York. He graduated from high school and, then he went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts at CUNY. After that he founded HASC (Hebrew Artists Social Community). The social community is a place where artists can connect, share their experiences and discover new opportunities to come together for creative activities like painting outdoors or connecting through creativity online.
Bernard has received many awards from his peers for his work over the years, including an Honor Award from the National Society of Painters and a Commendation from New York City Council. Moreover, Bernard has been nominated for numerous others as well. Perhaps Bernard's artwork is not as publicly known as he would like but it is highly appreciated by his peers nonetheless.
