I am a writer of assorted subjects and currently mentor new and young writers.
I have been a writer for 30 years producing factual pieces relating to exercise, fitness and health and covering all ages and abilities from children to seniors. Much of my work was used in advertorials, editorials, magazines and educational booklets as well winning a Golden Web Award three years running for website design, content and creativity.
In 2009 I retired and took up ficitional writing. Since then I have self-published a historical novel, mystery short story book and 3 children's illustrated short story books. I have also been mentoring new and young writers (in the UK, Australia and the USA) and have reviewed, edited and grammatically checked writing by other writers prior to them self-publishing. My mentoring has also included two younger writers and I have helped them to publish their own work.
Working with others I am one of the judges of an annual writing competition organised through Pen & Ink Designs based in the UK. This company helps new writers who take the self-publishing route. I also designs websites for writers and other users.
