Overview

I am an excellent, personable development editor with nearly two decades of experience in media and publishing (non-fiction and fiction). Expect clear, concise, tailored and actionable notes and advice, as well as audience and industry insights, delivered affably, honestly and with care. I'm hard working and like to see things through to fruition.

I come with a wide breadth of experience ranging from award-winning titles to personal projects. I've worked with some of the world's biggest publishing and media companies as well as small indie ones; and I've provided guidance to highly esteemed authors as well as to first-time writers. I have edited artist monographs, works of new philosophy, as well as fashion, cultural history and gastronomy titles. I have also edited memoirs and novels.

I have extensive experience as a writer/journalist and copy/subeditor, allowing me to look at projects from a variety of perspectives.

I'm based between the UK and the East Coast USA.
