Amanda Kruse – Editor

Since the age of five I have been passionate about reading, writing, and language. The power of a well-written story is greater than any one person, for it can touch countless lives. My job is to ensure books do so with the clarity and grammatical efficiency that will make them most effective.

Over the past three years, I have worked as a proofreader, copy editor, and line editor for Red Adept Publishing. I freelance edit for individual authors on the side, which I love.

Before that, I worked as an in-house proofreader for Forte Analytics as well as freelance edited manuscripts for Green Ivy Publishing. I graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Colorado with a BA in English and creative writing and went on to graduate from the Publishing Institute at the University of Denver in 2014. I worked as the fiction editor on the CU honors journal until I achieved my BA. I have several published works, including a short story in the Eunoia Review and a novella that I submitted for my honors thesis.
