Rachel Gluckstern

Rachel Gluckstern – Editor

Editor experienced in creative development, visual storytelling, and licensed publishing. I solve problems.

Overview

I'm a professional editor with a lot of experience in Kids, YA, and Licensed Publishing. I spent over ten years with DC Entertainment working with some of the great characters in modern pop culture, including the Dark Knight himself (Batman)! I have expanded my editorial experience since then and moved over into mainly KidsLit, but I like an adult project when it crosses my desk. Currently, I'm an editor for a boutique publishing house and am offering services for copyediting and proofreading. Clients have included Scholastic, Workman, and Macmillan. Looking forward to polishing your work!

Rachel provided great suggestions for improving my story and was thorough in finding grammar and style issues with the text. She was very professional and I could tell that she closely read my novel and wanted it to be the best it could be. Also, Rachel has great communication skills; it was always easy to reach her with questions and to discuss how best to improve problem areas.
